The Weyburn Fire Department consists of the following 33 positions:
Chief Officers
The Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chief normally work weekdays from 08:00 hours to 17:00, excluding holidays. One of the two Chief Officers will usually be on call at all times.

Weyburn Professional Fire Fighters’ Association Local 2989 of the IAFF
The career fire fighters follow a hours of work schedule based on The Fire Department's Platoon Act, as specified in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Weyburn and the Weyburn Professional Fire Fighters' Association Local 2989 (Organized 1985) of the International Association of Fire Fighters.
Paid-on-Call Fire Fighters
The Paid-On-Call Firefighters are affiliated with the Saskatchewan Volunteer Fire Fighters’ Association. 26 positions are authorized by Weyburn City Council.
