The City of Weyburn encourages responsible recycling & has recently entered into an agreement under the Multi-Material Recycling Program.   This will be an exciting year for Weyburn as we look ahead and begin to plan for a citywide recycling program.  More details will be coming throughout the year and we will be sure to bring them to you as they do!  In the meantime, check out this link and read more  on what this partnership will offer the citizens of Weyburn!   http://www.mmsk.ca/

CURBSIDE RECYCLING SERVICES:    There are currently two Weyburn companies that offer monthly  curbside recycling services.   For more information, contact:

Batteries and cell phones can be dropped off at the Weyburn Fire Hall

Environmental Resource Committee Objectives:

1) to identify, support, provide education on, and publicize available methods of recycling and other environmentally friendly practices in and around the City of Weyburn
2) to research and aid development of new and / or different methods of recycling and other envirnomentally friendly practices beneficial to Weyburn and area.

**SATURDAY, MAY 28th, 2016, 9:00a.m. to 3:00 p.m:   HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE DAY!     Time to dispose of all of your household hazardous materials that are not accepted at the landfill!   ...Cleaners, fuels, pharmaceuticals, aerosols and much more can be disposed of on this day at the Public Works Roundhouse (55-16th Street NE) Click here for a complete list of what will be accepted   The Weyburn SARCAN depot (1800 Ebel Road) will also be open on this day to accept paint and electronics only!  

Clean Up Campaign
To help to promote recycling, reducing and reusing, the City also has an annual Clean Up Campaign.  This campaign's goal is to get the community working together to help beautify and clean the City.
