Hillcrest Cemetery, located along provincial highway # 35 on the southern limits of the City of Weyburn, was opened around 1926 and replaced Horne Cemetery.

A walk through the old area of the cemetery reveals monuments to the early life in Weyburn. The people who built Weyburn are visible in names such as Mitchell, Eaglesham and Moffet.

You will also find the veteran's section which pays tribute to airmen from Canada and foreign countries, who gave their lives while training at the Weyburn Air Training School.

The records for this cemetery are kept by the City of Weyburn in the custody of the Parks Department.
